The intent of company’s support operations was unclear and the support the business needed was nowhere to be found. This resulted in a reasonably healthy business stalling and the client needed help to get it going again.
In the first phase of the project, we focused on defining the support required for the business and thought about its importance to various business areas. After this stage, the roles of key players as well as the organizational structure were defined, uniform reporting practices supporting the business were implemented, and cooperation between the business and support operations was increased.
After the changes were implemented, cooperative work was improved and significantly better support became available for business operations and decision-making. Clear and uniform goals and reporting guided the company’s operations. As the final result, they have attained a significantly more cost-efficient organizational structure, as well as a modern reporting system with metrics.
